Hey All,

Ive just bought the Mistubishi Eclipse Spyder 2007 convertible.
love the the car and the rockford radio system.

I have a question for anyone who knows about this in the radio system. It doesnt seem to stop tracking at radio frequencies which end in a even number.

Eg. when tuning it will go from 91.1 to 91.3 and miss 91.2

And this is both when i use the seek option or i use the manual tuning knob (which when pressed in becomes the audio options)

Could anyone please help I cant figure this out and missing some of my fave radio stations.

Cheers :liebe011:

That is common with near all radios. I don't think any station ends in an even number, except the new HD stations that are starting to pop up. But other than that, all radios tune like that, at least all the radios I have ever seen.

Not all numbers have a station. When you seek through, it will only find stations with a strong enough signal.

In the US radio stations don't end in even numbers except for maybe the hd radio stations like previously mentioned. Pending on the signal strength you might get a radio station (if you have a tuner that goes up by evens) that actually comes in better on even numbers but they don't actually broadcast on those frequencies. I have heard of radio stations saying they are even but they generally do that because of other radio stations that broadcast on adjacent frequencies or the similar frequencies located usually just out of or on the fringe of broadcasting range.
Based on where your profile window says your from, you have a US car outside the US so radio stations might be different there. Therefore you have a US radio. It is going to be setup for the US market not foreign markets.

But then you have to remove the entire system from the Dash board (standard fit and all) and i thought that would be a hassle and expensive

ah well ill just stick to Mp3s
