...and leave the switch in the on position when you turn off the vehicle. Once the driver door is opened, the headlights will turn off automatically. Also, if the driver door is not opened after the vehilce is shut down, then the lights will automatically turn off in 3 minutes.

thanks... but i wanted to enable DRL cos i'm importing the vehicle from US to canada... and to clear the inspection thing, that's why i'm looking for a permanent solution....
