Just wondering what is the benefit of doin this?

also wondering.. i have a spark plug that keeps coming loose.. yes i typed that right. It keeps coming loose.. any ideas on why or what i can do to fix it? thanks.

blue loctite

coil on plug advantage is the source of the current is right at the plug and doesn't have to travel down wires that give resistance. This allows for a more powerful spark

At what point is this something that will be advantageous for a person to do?

will for looks its makes the engine bay looks cleaner. and thats a plus for some. and you are not going to have a miss fire unless you have a bad coil. The stock set up is good for about 400hp or even higher with out any problems.

It's pretty good for everyone really, Because the spark doesn't have to travel as far and is stronger, you get a better burn. And less chance for detonation because of higher boost.

And since there aren't plug wires, there is less of a chance for soemthing to short out. Plus if a coil goes out, you don't have to pull off the **** fuel rail to take it off!

you take out the fuel rail to get to the coil pack??? wow i don't have to do that

+1 we've even gotten 950hp without going COP. Granted the coil was shortened and so were the wires but you can probably get to 700hp without doing the COP set up.

However, the misfire thing like he mentioned is worth doin the cop by itself.

Dont have a torque wrench, but tightening the same as the others...
What are they to be torqued to?
