Hey all, im from Adel, SA, gotta a spick and spanny 1998 Lancer GLXi 1.8. love the way it drives, especially after i redid the exhaust from the ex-back, the filter and some steel/stupid plastic to carbon fiber replacing to make it that 50 pounds lighter. Im running 17 flat on the quarter with everything inc a passenger in the car and 16.4 with everything out of it. Sounds pathetic but with RPW, LancerWars and Philcomm Rally itll be doing alot better soon. ;)
Lancers are the best I reckon, simply the best, reliable, long lasting car i have seen on the road.
How many people in these forums from SA?

Hey guys.
Im from adelaide aussie :) (the drift state ;) ) Have a 1984 Sigma GSR, undergoing a rebuild (paint, engine, etc), actually put on hold for a while, using it as a daily driver.
Street racing doesnt happen here, to tell you the truth im quite happy it doesnt, in my view its dangerous, and theres plenty of places here to race without risking the lives of innocent by-standers by driving like a total wanker on the roads. If you cant afford $200 to go the the track for the day, you cant afford to race, PERIOD.
Good to see some aussies on here :)
if anyone owns a sigma take a look at my website (sigma based website, only really interest people with interests in sigmas and/or those whom own them. www.mitsigma.com :)

I'm a guy from Adelaide, SA...
Have owned a Cordia and still have a 300ZX, but my daily driver is a
N I M B U S!
1997, 2.4L 16 valve 4G64, Currently non-turbo ;)
Nah they are a practical car and goes pretty well, everything considered.
Doesn't have any performance mods, the only mods are gizmo mods. (dvd & subs etc)
Although, it does have 16" wheels with low profile tires. Obviously makes a positive difference to the appearance, but mainly it actually makes it handle really well for this type of car.
For those over seas, this car is like the American EXPO, and not the LRV one. It's like a non-turbo FWD RVR with a 2.4L, and slightly longer body with normal (not van) doors.
Anyone else here got one? :)
