Hi Aus, da land of down under,
Im new here,
Im Ryan , and i currently own a 93 Galant HJ V6 2.0 24v DOHC, and i was wondering does anyone exactly know the specifications for this model ? ive seached around the www. and they all coming up with different specs,
the engine is a 6A12 non turbo, but i dont know if its the MIVEC version of the 6A12 ? does anyone know how to distinguish the differences of the Galant 6A12 and the FTO 6A12 MIVEC ? does it say MIVEC on the rocker cover ?
ive noticed that once the rpm hits 4500 it sounds like a VTEC / MIVEC and roars all the way to 7600-7800rpm (redline), thats the main reason why i wanna know if ive got the MIVEC 6A12 or normal galant 6A12 .
current mods - POD FIlter.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Secondly,
Anyone one know where i can score the extractors for the 6A12 in sydney?
also some help would be nice, if anyone know in sydney where i can grab a half cut 6A12TT (twin turbo) ..
Thanks guys,
Ryan

Hi Guys and Girls,
I have just purchased my wife a 2008 Mitsubishi VR Lancer (VCT Auto in Effect Grey).
We live in Melbourne.
Being a demonstrator vehicle (231 kms) Mitsubishi Motors Australia (MMA) has a requirement that all dealers keep these vehicles for a minimum of 90 days.
That doesn't mean you can't secure one, like we did .... only 6 days old. It means you can't collect it for 90 days since its arrival at the dealers.
As soon as we put down our $1,000 deposit, the vehicle was removed from the premises and placed into undercover secure storage until collection. The price included Genuine Mitsubishi Accessories ... towbar, rubber boot liner, floor mats, chrome door scuff plates, lock nuts and aftermarket window tint and number plate covers .... all for $ 27,000 driveaway
WHY .... why the drawn out procedure .... a saving of $ 5,700 over a new vehicle. Certainly worth the effort.
I just went in and approached the dealer, asking if he would consider selling any of his demonstrator fleet ... 30 minutes later the deal was done.

I have arriving within the next 10 days, a full copy of the factory workshop manuals on CD-ROM.
