I think I figured it out.

Theory 1:
There are some differences between the US and non-US models of the Lancers. The US 2007 Lancer is this...

The non-US 2007 Lancer is what everybody here drives. david kuek is obviously not from the US. I even did a google search for 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer and I get the US 2008 model.

Theory 2:
david kuek is trying to say he only does parts for the Lancer that was released in 2007... which is the 2008 model.

...

WHY CAN'T THEY RELEASE 2008'S IN 2008? MAKE EVERYTHING EASIER! JEEEEEEZ!

EDIT: Also forgot to mention fullmetalpanic, all the pictures he's supplying are for parts designated for OUR Lancers (years are not included, as to prevent FURTHER confusion)

sorry for the confuse, this new model ( Blue color ) actually come into market is 2007 sept, as the picture show the Lancer in silver is a very old model.
