i recently purchased some blue lights for my gauge cluster, i installed them and nothing happened, so then i realized that the gauge face is amber so for me to change the color i have to remove the film on that cluster correct?

if that is correct how you would remove the amber film over the gauge face?

acetone?
sandpaper?
do i have to remove the needles?
