Ok I got a question. I am just about to buy a GSX or GST. If the GSX doesnt sell to some one else its mine. If it does sell im buying the GST. I was just wandering if the 6-speed Evo tranny will fit in a 4g63 eclipse. GST or GSX....I was just wandering.

So it would work in a GSX. Thats awsome! Cause A 6 speed eclipse would be pretty ***** hard. A 95-99 cause there really arent any.

Um, the answer is no. Have you ever looked under the hood of a 2g dsm and an Evo MR? Didn't think so.

you don't get it or is there anything between those 2 ears of yours???

on a eclipse the transfer case is pointed to the rear of the car.

if you install the evo transmission the transfer case will be facing the front of the car.

It will work if you put a 3rd set of wheel on the car in front of the motor.

THe transmission will be backwards and your out put shaft will be pointing the wrong direction.

2g dsm and evo MR engines are mounting 180 degress backward. So even IF you were able to somehow miraculously cutsom mount it on the other side, you would still have to do about 4 grand worth of custom transfer case mounting, then all new driveshaft, all new differentials, and many... many... many... more things.

Bottom line. Don't bother.
