So my check engine lights on, I paid meineke for a $45 diagnostic. The genius failed to give mt the OBD codes, because he didn't write them down. But at least he remembers it was the air intake sensor. Supposedly the car is fine, the sensor itself is bad, so that needs replaced. I have looked in the service manual and see how to do it. I'm not 100% sure where thats located though. And wondered if anyone might have done this before and would have some tips. And hopefully a good place to get a replacement. Thanks.

EDIT: I found it, pretty simple. Theres no visual damage to the sensor. But I assume that doesn't mean it can't be bad still.

Why did you pay? These diagnostic scans are typically free at Advance or Auto Zone. Not to much more than 45, you could've purchased your own scanner.

Well from what I'm told, the ones there are a bit too broad, and the ones that the dealers use are more specific and narrow it down. It was one of those types. And I bought into that considering the guy at autozone said it was something completely different. hard to fix something when idk who to believe or know who's right. But I'm going with AIT.
