So I took the chance and bought an Injen CAI on ebay that was for the 08 2.0. It arrived today, and only took about an hour to install, everything fit like a glove and injen gave play by play instructions which helped a lot. It added a great increase of power after the 3000 rpm range but i lost a little bit of low end torque.which im not mad about  it sound great too....so mean!

Have had mine on my 09 gts for two months now. Hard to keep your foot out of it with the sound it makes. I paired it up with a magnaflow muffler. Nice combo the two make. Custom install on the muffler but looks great!
Cheers!

Brakeman302,

Acouple questions:

What Magnaflow Muffler did you use and what was the overall cost for the custom exhaust and any issues melting the rear bumper? Pics?

Has your gas mileage dropped since Injen CAI been installed?

Thx.

I didn't notice any huge gains in milage since The can was barley broke in when I installed the cai. I went to hottexhaust.com and found a street magnaflow I liked and paid $94.00 for it. Cost me $100.00 to install. Sounds great! Not too loud at all. Makes a nice growl at the lower rpm's. Only bad side is the muffler looks huge from the back. I wished it would have tucked up some more,as for melting the bumper no probs there. If I get a chance I will post a few picks...
Cheers
