I found some pre cut window tint on ebay. What do you guys think about this. Do home kits look good? Or should I spend the money and have it done professionally?

I'd do it professionally...so you dont get bubbles, creases, or purple tint.

By Purple Tint do you mean they actually send you purple colored tint?

As the great comic Harland Williams has once said:

"Have you ever driven on the highway between two home tint jobs? All the bubbles make you feel like you are 10,000 leagues under the sea. You just feel like saying 'nice tint job Jaques Crustoe.'"

A professional tint job will run you 150 - 200 it will have a warranty and it will look good.

A home job will run you up to 50, you will have to do it, chances are it will NOT look good it WIll have a tear or two it WILL have some bubbles and it WILL be peeling off within a year.

i bought the pre-cut stuff, i had some guy my dad knows that used to do window tinting were he worked that said he'd put it on for me. but he flaked out so i googled how to apply tint and tried putting it on myself, it was a pain in the a$$! ended up not even being cut to the exact right shape, spend the extra cash and have it tinted in a shop.

Get it done professionally, but make sure to check what's legal first. Nothing worse than getting some nice tint, only to have to pull it off when the popo's get you.

Anything worth doing, is worth doing right.
Go with a pro. If something goes wrong with it, you will have some one to yell at.
I may get mine done this weekend, for $50, but I only need the door glass done.

Legal tint in ohio is 50%. Suburbans come with a 60% tint in the back outta the factory.

You see my point :P
