Im looking to get my hands on a 5spd to drop in my 2000 3.0
Does anybody know where i could find one for less than $500(yeah thats funny aint it)

yeah bout that....i have a loan out on this car so i couldnt go buy a 5spd car...how bout a wrecked one....how easy are they to come by

Trade it for a manual.

It's hard, takes too much time, and is expensive.

You are looking at about...... $1500 in parts and about 12-18 hours of labor. And that part quote is from junkyards. Tranny's with about 60k on them will run you around $1000 alone, and thats if you pull them yourself.
