to be honest you would be getting screwed on that car, it may be kinda pretty (if your into orange, lol) but it is not worth half of what he is asking. there are so many bad **** eclipses in florida, an if you take your time and look good you will find a way better one a lot cheaper. that car is nothing but looks, not fast and sure as hell not worth 6500$ i wouldn't even give him 3000 for it. or if you got that kind of money you can buy a cheap stock one for less then 2 grand, possibly even a decent turbo 2g for about 2500-3000 then you have plenty left to pimp it how you want it done. and just another of my opinions here...but honestly, do you expect to get laid driving a car that orange?

just my 2 cents but i dont wanna see ya get ripped off. :gunsmilie:

I've seen 2g GST's/GSX's with at least 550HP+ AND good looking for around 6k.

This car has almost nothing except a few ricer looks. I'd probably pay $1,000~$2,00 for it and have everything re-done (assuming its a GST)

You better off looking a bit more. And to the guy selling that, I wish him luck in getting 6g's for that.

I don't think you guys are being quite fair. I don't know what it means by "ricer", but it looks nice, and the interior looks to be good quality. If the paint is perfect, and he has kept it up to date on repairs and it runs perfect, than I don't see as how 6 grand is bad. Especially if it is to be a back up car while you are working on another one.

If you plan on THAT being your project, then skip over it. But I think this has a good exterior look to it, and then you can focus on the engine and all the "GO" since the "SHOW" part is done. If you do decide to get it, I do suggest lowering the price a bit though.

So, The moral of the story is, if he has the repairs up to date on it, then go ahead cause it would be a nice car to drive while you work on a project car. This, however, should not BE the project.

its not worth 6000. i bought my awd with 138k miles for 1000 maybe it had crankwalk but hey we arent talkign about that. but the paint looks good to me im not so sure about those red seats and all but if your just lookign to have a decently clean car its worth about 2500 or 3000 at most.

The "Show" part is not done.

Stock Rims
Crap speakers staring you in the face
Poor Tint Job
Autozone High Rise Wing
"Custom Exhaust".... everyone knows there is no such thing
Red and Grey seats.... on an orange car.
All this and the headliner is missing?

As far as I am concerned, this guy destroyed this car. It looks worse than most of the ones I have seen in junkyards.

The thing I love about it is that he doesn't state what kind of eclipse it is (GST, GSX, RS, GS). It being a automatic as well most likely makes it a RS/GS.

Probably doesn't even have a turbo. Def no where near 6k for it, don't care how expensive the paint is. Doesn't make it anywhere near worth that price.

yeah i was thinkin if its auto it pretty much has to be just a non turbo 420a. an he said he aint tweaked it except for cold air intake, hell we all got that. it may have a header and a catback an all, or a nice boiler muffler, that may be the "custom exhaust, but from the looks of it i bet he means it has some cheesy chrome fart-can or just a spiffy looking tip

hell for half of what he is asking i will drive to orlando from texas with my car and sell it to ya, and its gonna be a lot faster, and with the money you save you can make it look better too. an mines even a 5 speed, lol with a sunroof that dont leak and a good headliner, lol

Just cause its auto dont mean its a 420a. I have seen ALOT of GSTs and GSXs that are automatic! Seems like everytime I look at a GSX or GST thats a deal its a junkie **** automatic! So that doesnt mean anythin. But most the time when the eclipse is pretty like that one it is a 420a. The 420a stock is all show no go! Sacrifice performance by looks witch is DUMB! Why make it look fast **** hell and then get out run by a Honda or Integra. When I 4g63 stock would tear them both up. Plus 6500 for a car with 118K. Your crazy to buy it. Hes probably selling it for as much **** the paint job cost! Even though he said it was half. My oppinion thats not a 12,000 $ paint job

+1 those stock wheels "usually" came on a turbo car, but we won't know until he looks under the hood
