Hi!

I am to change my gearbox in the next 2-3months. My choice of gearbox I have found here: http://www.jackstransmissions.com/product_...bcf103a25c8a5a4

My car is a Gs-t and this gearbox is a AWD gearbox.

I sent them a mail regarding a new transmission from them. I want the Evo3 10% larger 1st gear, the Evo3 3rd and 4th gears as well. This will make me a short step gearbox. I also want their super synchro for shifting gears at any rpm.

Problem: The Evo3 3rd and 4th gears will not fit in my FWD transmission.

Solution: They can make me the AWD premium build gearbox and convert it to a FWD gearbox. It will fit as the original FWD transmission. I also want the quaife Torque Biasing LSD installed.

That gearbox can take 600 awd HP, so my fwd application will never have any issues of overpowering my transmission.

Have anyone done business with them? :) They sound very serious and professional, promt email reply and also say they have a goal of shipping transmissions within 2 weeks after ordering.

Thanks.

Em.. Also, is it a good idea with a short-step gearbox in a Gs-t? :)

it sounds good, the price isn't too bad.

this one: http://www.sheptrans.com/catalog.php?type=...DSM%20FWD&id=19

comes with a quaife and is an actual FWD trans, but you have to add the intermediate shaft.

They do. :)

The price ends up at approx. 7k included shipping + 25% taxes when I get the gearbox in to Norway..

The gearbox will fit perfectly as a FWD gearbox
