How difficult is it to change a spun rod bearing?
Is it something easily done in a parking lot?
Actually, let me rphrase that.....
Is it something that is do-able in a paring lot, with regular hand tools, a torque wrench, and maybe some other tools, and doesn't require pulling the engine (I don't have the option of puling the engine)?
If it is do-able, is it advisable to do all the rod bearings, and the crank shaft, and crank shaft bearings while it is torn apart?

Yeah.... When you blow a rod or rod bearing it means rebuild. And no you can't rebuild your engine in a parking lot with hand tools.
