battery wont stay charged and the daytime running lights dont work...what is wrong with this **** car

Or a short in the wiring leading to the DRL... which would lead to battery problems

Is either your alternator carbon has eaten up and need to replace the new carbon or your alternator rectifier has spoil.

Normal check before send in for alternator servicing.
1) Did the belting still there, if yes, it is too loss
2) are the cable connected fully in the alternator
3) are the fuse blow up from alternator before the battery,
4) Battery connector corrosion
