I am also wondering this and would like to add: how long does it really take for a professional to install it, if I go to a shop? I doubt they'd just work on one car all day and get it done, what has it taken other people who didn't do it themselves? No, I'm not going to make a learning experience project out of it, I can't afford to f' up my daily driver.

Mounting an intercooler takes probably the most time.

Exhaust I would go N1 no doubt. But the cash man remember.Check for decible ratings 92db is ok. All exhaust do is give you breathing and sound anyway.

all exhaust do is breathing and sound dont you understand breathing=power. i really dont go looking at what sounds best, but for most power your going to want the same size pipe all the way through your system, so if you have 3inch cat-back you want 3 inch muffler with slightly bigger tip will give slightly deeper sound. i like to go with 3 inch pipe off turbo all way back into a 3 in muffler with 3.5 or 4 inch outlet uselly 3.5 outlet. i dont see much difference in a 90 dollar muffler and a 35 dollar autozone muffler.

I agree. when a turbo is involved the restriction caused by the manifold, turbine housing and turbine wheel will make it quieter than a non turbo. so the sound issue almost becomes null
