My V2 is on it's way, I should have it next week. I will let you guys know how it works out once I have it installed (i.e. if I get any more leaks).

Meanwhile RRM advices people with V1 to put a speedy sleeve on it,

Please keep us updated. I wonder if $130 is worth the spending for some aluminum and part steel.

Do you have a CVT or manual?

I could notice a significant difference with the pulley.
Though I do not have the exhaust or intake on (I don't really see why or how that would make a difference in this case).

That's interesting because I've heard some people say they've felt a bigger difference after installing the pulley as opposed to a new intake AND exhaust.

Maybe it's a combination of all 3?

I have all 3 and installed in this order

Injen CAI
RRM Pulley V2
Greddy Ti-C

The car has some GREAT punch once it hits about 3k RPMs now. Anybody who says the pulley isn't contributing to that is just plain mad.

Well I must be mad then.

I have the pulleys on my current car, and did not feel ANY noticeable difference.

I think the pulleys are just a gimmick. I think they would be beneficial on a full house engine where every little bit counts, but a 2.0 N/A, not worth it in my opinion.

OK, here's the answer we all need to hear.

The pulley is really only for reducing parasitic drag. Running anything off your belt system will reduce overall acceleration because you are making the car work harder. If you have your A/C running with the stock pulley, your car will feel sluggish when accelerating. A lightweight pulley will help reduce or even stop that sluggish feeling.

On it's own, you really shouldn't see much of a difference if you are running a 1/4 mile... unless you have your A/C on.

Water makes you lose traction... that's the only thing that's happening.

I got my V2 in the other day. Installed it (I will be posting a How To soon).
Car feels better again... slight difference in revving for sure. Nothing major but like I explained before it is more torquey.

I guess it takes a lot of driving and feeling out the car to really notice it, but I still like the part and stick to my comment that "it is worth it".

One suggestion that I was told btw: when installing the pulley don't put it on a dry seal, that might cause wearing of the pulley (well it would for V1, V2 not so much but it is a good idea to lubricate the seal with something, I put engine oil on mine [whether that's a good idea or not I'm not sure, I guess we'll see what happens] - anyway this is something that will go in the How To and I'll find out exactly what should be used for the lubricant).
