Its if the TT its a LOT OF FUN. However, like any older tuner, they break alot.

Something cool bout them tho is they have RWD assist. IE, All Wheel Steering, just toned down a little.

If its only 500 I say buy it and drop a VQ35 in it.

There is a TON of aftermarket support for them too. The Z32 I think has the flip up headlights, and the Z33 has them flush with the body and has lenses.

I personally love the way they look. And any time you find a car for 500, I think you should buy it if you have the space in your garage. Just my thoughts, though.

if your looking for a 300zx def get the DOHC TT that is one bad a$$ car. my dad had the 280 back in the day when they were still datsun and that car was fun but the 300 is so much more cool. ... it kinda reminds me of the acura nsx but just in looks tho

my friend has a 87 300zx I believe they only come with a single t3 turbo and in like 89 or something they started making them TT but I'm not 100% on that so don't hold me to that. They're ridiculously slow stock. The handling on it is amazing. I mean you can seriously whip that thing around any turn. I dunno I mean for 500 bucks why not. But that's if you have the room for it and can afford the insurance. Honestly I'd rather spend that 500 bucks on my gst just cause I'm not a big fan of that body style and it would end up being another bill every month with insurance and then parts and blah blah blah.

Oh... oh well, still. Putting the VQ35 into it would be killer. I just hope he doesn't throw the RB or SR in there... that's definately been done to death.

Anyways, why was he asking you? Did he want you to help him build it up or something? Just sounds kinda odd to ask a Mitsubishi person if they should get a Nissan...

the 1g 300z has a single turbo but puts out around 195 horse not much eh... but these are great for track with little more hp they go aroudn a track good built a couple 280zx race cars. the 2g 300zx has a twin turbo model of course we all know 300z means 3 litre 280 means 2.8l 260z means 2.6l etc... get the point if you want a bad **** car get a 240 or 280 or a 300zx 2g with twin turbo those are only ones worth it.
