hey im thinking about buying a 97-99 mirage and i cant seem to find any with a 1.8l 5 speed. i am aware that they are very rare cars to find. so i have found many 1.5l and i was wonder what engines will fit in the mirage because its almost impossible to find parts for a 1.5l. so i was just wonder if i get a 1.5l mirage what engines would i be able to put in it. thanks to anyone who helps.

An easy engine to find and drop in is a 99-03 Mitsubishi Galant /Eclipse 2.4 , they are nearly almost same in size , also the Mirages 1.8 and Galant's 2.4 /Eclipse 2000-2003 use the same manual and automatic transmissions .
