i have an 03 lancer and have been looking around at lowering springs. i've found a few places i can get em for an ok price. i was also looking for other people's input on how low i should go with em. i'm thinkin about a 2" or 1.5" drop, both for about $150. if anyone knows of a website with a better price please let me know. it'd be greatly appreciated and give some input on how low please.

Go with 1.5 it looks good and will handle better. If you go more than 2 you will have positive camber in the front even with 1.5 you will have a little without camber plates or camber bolts. Positive camber equals understeer.

decided not to lower it. i just got 18" white rims, and if i lower it any they will be rubbing, so i am going to keep the stock height. they make it look lowered too, soooooooooo

18" rims with stock heigth would look awkward man... lowered it to 1 or 1.5, but get the rims that suit your lancer offset/ET... ussualy around 40+..

or to avoid rubbing, get thinner profile for your tires..

thinner profile? i already have 30 series tires. i have been thinking about selling the 18s and buying a few more performance mods and getting some 16 or 17s later on. im pretty sure thats what im going to do actually. i really like the 18s, but performance is more important to me than looks.

its your call,man..

17'rims and bellow for performance and rally look..
18" rims and above for elegant or style (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

my suggestion for lancer go for r16, 205/195 - 50/55...

Has anyone found that new rims/tires are needed on a OZ with a 1.8 front, 1.5 rear drop? I want to get the Tien S Tech springs on RRM...
