A t3/t4 is a hybrid turbo. It use a t3 turbine which allows the turbo to spool up faster but the actual outside of the turbo (the thing that looks like a snail shell) is from a t4 which allows more air to come out. The t3 is a small turbo which is comprable to the t25 that comes stock in the 2g eclipses/talons. You can't really say which tubro is technically better I mean they both work good but the t3/t4 hybrid will get you way more hp than a t3. It really just depends what you're looking to do with your car. You probably won't get your car past 250 hp with a t3 and it'll run out of breath in higher rpm's. The t3/t4 is a really good turbo which has a lot of potential. Keep in mind it's mainly just different sizes of turbos that make the difference. 10psi on a t25 and 10psi on a 20g are NOT the same thing AT ALL. If you're looking for around 300 hp or more go with the t3/t4.

A/R .60. Basically it refers to how big the opening is in the turbo and the bigger it is the more air can come out.
