QUOTE(SC-CUSTOMS @ Jul 6 2008, 06:42 PM) It's been done PLENTY of times, and only Rippmods.com makes a supercharger for the 4G64. $5,000 is the average price, not including supporting mods. HEll of alot easier to turbo....

QUOTE(bobthecow @ Jul 7 2008, 01:28 PM) ^ what he said To turbo you just need all the parts from a 1g/2g turbo. However, the super runs better on these cars. Supercharger Still totally not worth it. Also is he I4 or v6 The v6 cant handle either without upgrades to valvetrain and block the I4 i hear does 9-12 lbs of forced induction easy but im more of a Honda Acura Guy so yeah. But You can buy the turbo kit off of ebay for about a grand or like Bob said get off the sexier eclipses -_- I thought manifold was different though.... On 3G ecu Like I do for my smog. Buy a backup if you choose to build. The complete motor is worth like 800 anyways with a trans. So if you got deep pockets get that and build it. so if anything goes wrong you still have a motor on the side.

QUOTE(SC-CUSTOMS @ Jul 7 2008, 05:51 PM) His avatar shows a 4, and his vehicle description says the same. I agree - turbo, however - he specifically asked about a supercharger so I gave him the answer. As far as the V6 - partially true. The GT can handle more than the GTS, since the GTS is a higher compression (10:1). GTS can handle roughly 6lbs safely and the GT can get up to about 10lbs. i thought gt and gts motor had same compression diff was accessories inside ofcar....?????
