First, I love this forum, been reading up on all subjects that I can so far, and the people here seem great.

Hypothetically, if any of you guys were to convert your 2G GS automatic into a manual, would there be any specific donar cars to look out for, for parts that would help in the conversion. This is strictly for project, and I just wanna see if it would be fun, or could be done.

Any opinions welcomed. And I'm glad I finally had something to post!

Uh, you'd be looking for a 95-99 RS/GS, or a 95-98 Talon ESI.

I'm still on the fence meanwhile gathering information, on a fun project/set up to get into.

I used a 5-speed from a 97 neon R/T it is a little bit stronger than the ones for the eclipse or talons and a little bit easier to do because it is a cable clutch instead of hydralic. BUT the front mount and pedal assemblies have to be fabricated

mine didn't turn out the best but it worked
