my low volt light came on after my alternator belt broke... i had recently put in a 1000 watt amp with two twelves i wasnt pushin all the watts. well i got the alt. tested with a diagnostic machine at pep boys and it said alt was pushin low volt. so i disconnected the amp power cable from my battery replaced the alternator and the light still wont go off it pops on after a few mins of drivin. i drove about two hours after and had no power loss in lights windshield wipers i even had my stereo on for a while does anyone have a clue why this would happen i checked all my fuses and they are all good battery was tested its good too im stumped....
