QUOTE(shoedaddy @ Jul 8 2008, 11:57 AM) i want a daily driver that will run with the best of them, I WAS THINKING OF ABOUT 350 TO 4000 HP
haha, I think that was a typo. 350 is a good goal with FWD cars. 400 is hard to get traction. all you need is a bigger turbo like an evoIII 16g, a nice fmic or large smic, and good fuel mods. the stock 6-bolt block will handle 350 all day

if the compression of the engine you just bought is fine all you have to do is drop it in your 93. I would replace the timing belt, pulleys, and tensioner before you do that thouhg. Any chance you get to replace the timing components on these things is a good idea.
but otherwise,, it should be ok as it is.
If you are worried the engine may have been beaten or is higher in mileage a stock rebuild, balance shaft eliminator kit, new oil pump, new timing components, and a metal head gasket are all you need
