Just got a set of Isotta aftermarket aluminum pedals for an '07 Outlander. The brake pedal seems easy to install. However, installing the gas pedal seems a little challenging. Drilling 2 holes through the gas pedal will also penetrate the accelerator. Since it is one piece and in plastic, does anyone has any idea how durable the accelerator is when drilling with a smaller bit? Really don't want to crack it...Thanks.

On a similar note, I wonder if the aluminum pedals for the Lancer Evo / Ralliart can be purchased from the dealer and installed on the Outlander without any modifications. It seems both of the GS platform cars share a lot of common parts.

Might be better than drilling wholes. :)

Anybody try this out?
