I have a 89 Dodge Colt hatchback. It has a 1.5L engine in it and has 5 speeds. Something that I have some to note is that, when it rainy and cloudy and the outside temperate is below 60 degrees, the engine is rough. When i mean rough its acceleraates slower and the rpm builds slower. I have less power to go up hill too.
now that the summer is here And the temperature is above 65 its engine raves freely and the engine is a delight to drive. And I even get some phynominal gas milage. If I avaraged 27 mpg in winer now its close to 35mpg. And I have great power off the line and going uphill is effortless.
I know that in winter and summer the cars work differently. But when I went to Vancover the other day when it raied it was asking for more power. When it was sunny the next day it was great to drive.
So I'm trying to see why this might be? My only guss is that its Oil pressure. But I'm not sure.
So I was wondeing if anyone here might have any idea what it might be?
