Basically what it is is checking for vacuum leaks from top to bottom.
Intake, TB, manifold, EGR, other hoses valve cover, head, PCV piston rings exhaust manifold,
I think that's it.
As far as the top end goes, if the idle is off then check the seals for the hoses and the bolts for the EGR.
4g63attack knows more about it.

QUOTE(calin666 @ Jul 9 2008, 12:47 PM) I did some searching on here about leakdown tests, and found plenty of places it is mentioned, but no info on what exactly it is, what I need to do it, or how to do it. Could somebody maybe help me out with this, or point me in the right direction? http://www.geocities.com/dsmgrrrl/FAQs/leakdown.htm
