buy a fully loaded 5 speed GS instead of the GT or GTS. i mean if your going to boost a Gen 3 Eclipse that would be the one to do it. huge potential for horsepower, and still all the comfort with all the bells and whistles that the GTS has on it.

one more recommendation. get one with a black interior. the tan just looks like crap, even if its been taken care of, it just doesn't suit it quite right

He's not afraid to change out the internals, so why recommend the GS? Sounds like an interesting project to me.

Which route would get me more power for the same price? A GTS or a GS?

Thanks that helps a bunch! After hearing about the amount of boost a GS can handle from the factory, I didn't know which route to take. I'll deffinitely go with the GS. :liebe011: If it was your car which brand of turbo/intercooler would you get? Also I live in NE Ohio and my dad lives in Central PA. Which shop would you reccomend to do my work? We have no problem trailering it but if there is a good one near by that would be best. :liebe011:

I would rip everything out of a 1g or 2g and save myself about $2500

What do you mean by everything? And would it just bolt right up?

everything on the 1g/2g bolts up directly. You just need to get the piping for the intercooler custom made.

Go to tearstone performance and email russ on the matter. He knows all the parts you need.

Any place that does custom mandrel-bent piping. Find a few companies that you might take it to and run the name through the Better Business Bureau's website to see what kind of reputation they have.
