looking for a rim for the winter, was thinking of getting same size rim/winter tire that comes on her. but sounds like thinner tires are better for snow, and up here in the good ol north we get a good bit of snow at times.

whats the smallest rim that the gts will take where it has the big shoes?
i tried searching but found 56 pages so i think it searched for every word :)

The smallest rim that I know of to put onthe car is the spare LOL!

even though you were being a smartty pants... lol i did answer my question. i didn't think about that spare in there. if thats a 16 then a 16 should fit.

im trying ti find out cause the guy at the work garage said the thinner tire is best for winter.

16" rims with hubcaps with a good size tire. That way you don't care if you scratch 'em up!
