Hi I am looking to mod my 92 3000gt SL. Currently I am not on the road to turbo it.
I am interested in a N/a Path of modification I have 400 Bucks to spend today.

I know the usual N/A Path of modification but would like your input as this car is new to me.

What are you N/A guys out there doing???
If you could give me a list even if it exceeds my 400 dollar limit today so that i know what to save for that would be great.

Oh yeah and where is the best place to buy the parts??
Thanks in advance

..not much u can do to an SL
if u were really interested in high HP, u shoulda gone VR-4
all i did to my SL was...
-injen short ram intake (cold air intakes dont fit)
-custom welded exhaust
-high flow cat converter

if you have some money to spend or want to work on it for a while they are not too bad of an N/A car to do

get some headers
reground cams (3sx)
exhaust is up to you
intake (ebay is cheapest)
lighten the flywheel
underdrive pulley
injectors
fuel pump

there is a few things you can do to get your car at least as fast as a VR4.

well i've been looking at what i can do to get a twin turbo upgrade and it's a bit expensive but the turbos that i can get on there are higher hp then the vr4 anyway, plus i picked up the car in absolute perfect condition for 5200 so i wasn't gonna pass up that deal

If it is a daily driver intake/exhaust full basic performance upgrades and leave it at that or else you will pay for it dearly.

Second if you have a couple hundred to blow down the drain, invest in a nice nitrous wet kit for $500, 75-100 hp/torque to the flywheel instantly.

Your last option, if you are very handy, have lots of downtime conisder a TT conversion, you can get all the parts $1000-1500. If you plan on paying for labor then get ready to spend another $1200-1500. A basic TT conversion will put you close to the 300hp to the flywheel range.

You decide which path you chose, just know its going to cost lots of money for any of these options, and making the reliability of the car less and less.
