:trophy: i am wanting to take my stock eclipse on the quarter mile but i am wanting to know of anything that might break. someone told me that the track being very sticky could break some things. sorry if this is a stupid question. i just want to have some fun, but i want to know what kind of risk i am taking on my car. thank you for any input. the car is a 2002 2.4l automatic 60000miles.

It's an automatic 4cyl - you won't break anything. Light turns green, you press the gas.

thank you for your fast response, i didn't think i would have anything to worry about. but it wouldn't be worth breaking something. i expecting maybe an embarasing 20sec. 1/4 mile. just for fun.
