help please
i have a carisma 2000 with a big problem after cleaning decoke of throttle body i unfortunately tampered with the screw on the petentiometer which sent the engine reving up to about 2500 revs.iv'e spent days trying to rectify the problem with no success managed to get the revs down thru ([QUOTE]reset of sensors )with thanks to these forums but the revs seem to hunt when slowing down or when clutch is engaged. any help advice would be greatly apreciated

The who did wut? The Throttle Position Sensor? Screw on the IDLE Air Control valve? Air bypass control on the ISCV? Is there any loose vacuum hoses?

The Mitsubishi Carisma is a large family car produced for the European market by Mitsubishi Motors from 1995 to 2004. The model name was derived from a combination of the English car and the Greek kharisma, meaning "divine gift".
