I dont know what to get next, so far I've got the Injen CAI and the Ti-C on backorder. I was thinkin either an ECU but which one do I get? or the V2 pulley. I'm new to the mod world, any suggestions as what to get?

i think u should go with lowering springs. it all depends on what you want to do with your car.

If your going to do the ECU. go with works. More bang for the buck. My only complaint about doing that mod is the fact that you have to run 91 or 93. I know the reason behind it....but I just hate running the extra octane. It only adds up to what like a few extra bucks per fill up which really isn't bad overall.

The new pulley is also a nice additive. But I question RRM's reliability...even with the improved version..but it's at a pretty good price though.


Out of the 2, I would prob. go with the WORKS computer. But you would have to be without your car for 2 days. 1 to overnight your computer to them & another day at least for them to program your computer to your specs (depends on what mods you have or plan on doing oin the near future) & return it back to you.
It puts out some nice power.

Your off to a great start...

I love the Works ECU flash and the gains they can provide, but because it's spec'ed to all the mods you have to your car, your best bet is to make the ECU flash your LAST mod. There's no reason to have the ECU flashed for a stock header when you planning to upgrade your headers in the future. Also, it can also be counter-productive to have the ECU flashed for aftermarket headers when you are still running stock.

Granted, Works will reflash the ECU free of charge, but you still have to pay to ship it out.

I say get the V2 pulley. The oil leak and "groove" problems is also issues on the stock pulley. RRMs pulley is reinforced with a steel sleeve, making it more durable than stock.

If you can come up with the extra funds, wait for RRMs V2 headers. It will be a perfect match for the exhaust.

I didn't realize that it would be that much of a hassle to get a computer programmed and it sounds like that the ECU should be put in later after a few more things. I put a stop to my waiting for the Ti-C and ordered the WORKS Exhale. So maybe the pulley and Lowering kit cause my next thing will be the rims and tires! Has anyone got the short shifter from WORKS? If so how do you like it?

I'd go for the coilovers. Yeah, they're almost twice as expensive as the lowering kit, but it's fully adjustable to whatever ride height you like... even better if you are going to do aftermarket rims since you can adjust to the size of the tire.

If I had the dough, I'd definitely snag a set.

So I just went crazy and ordered pretty much everything on my list all at once! Rims and tires, V2 pulley, tanabe lowering springs, WORKS exhaust! Its gonna be a busy weekend! Ill post before and after, and prob get a dyno sometime. :460:

I haven't heard much on the Tanabe springs. It's mostly Works or Tein springs that get all the reviews. Let us know what you think about them.

I wish I had money to burn through...

... heck, I wish had pockets for money to burn through!
