Yep it happened.

I've got an 08 Lancer VRX (GTS to you guys) and ours come with Yokohama tyres. Blew the one of the rear left. Thankfully i was close to home and i managed to turn around and get home (drove about 2km on a flat tyre, the guys behind me must have hated me!) and then i jumped into my dad's car as he's overseas.

Now my question is:
Since our cars only come with a space saver and that i've never had to deal with a busted tyre...what do i do? Do i go and change the tyre, bring it to a tyre store and say "kgo match it" or something?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

PS: Oh and how much would it cost roughly?

Never drive on a flat tire if you know it's flat. Our cars come with emergency donuts and a jack for a reason.

My donuts are honey glazed. Mmmmmmmm!

As for replacing the tire, just bring them the rim and tell them you need a new tire to match the other 3. If you are running stock rims and tires, you'll need 215/45/R18.

It will run you about $80-$140 depending on the brand you get and where you purchase it from.

The tire might have still been good/repairable, but I doubt it after driving home on it flat. Hopefully you didn't mess up your wheel.

Wow $80-$140 a tire. Wish I got the Yokos instead of the Dunlops.
Got a roofing nail in the sidewall. (Driving thru an industrial area... bad idea)
Cost me $180 for 1 Dunlop.
Had to get it driven from a Goodyear warehouse to the tire store.
Apparently, few places stock the stock Dunlops we get.

Its all I got for now, so I gotta deal, but they're not great at all.
As bad as it rains down here, I need something with a little less of the Hydroplaning feel to it.

Dunlops love to go right over that water. I hit that water that you can't see at night and freaked the ba-gibbies out of me, grabbed that steering wheel and was like, did i hit something, it slowed me from like 50 to 30 or so.

According to the retailer, the Yokos retail for about 300-400 dollars EACH Australian!!!!

They told me because they were low profiles, they're ALOT more expensive and the same Yokos that are regular tyres are only 120 each!!!

The ES 16" gets Yokohamas. My coworker has an ES and I noticed just how lucky she was.

Yeah....did that to me P-L-E-N-T-Y of times. Glad the dealer swapped them out for the Pirelli's.
