I noticed about 2 weeks ago that my low tire pressure warning flashed up on the screen and so I turned around and went home and drove my other car. the tires seemed fine but I thought maybe there was a slow leak and I would check it out after work. I coem home and the tires look fine so i take it down tot he gas stationa nd put it to the exact psi and go home, the next day the low tire pressure warning comes up. This is annoying because I cant change anything on the info screen so I cant see my miles or my MPG or anythign very annoying and it stays on the screen all the time. I have put air back in the tires and tried fixing it by even overfilling a little but a few days later it just keeps coming back. Its not the weather because I'm in philadelphia and its been consistantly between 80F-95F or so for the past month. has this happened to anyone else, what did you do? What the hell can I do besides pay someone to fix something so dumb? I dont feel like driving all the way to the dealer (over an hour) for somethign so minor if I can fix it myself.

If you press and hold the info button it will go away, it will still show a ! point but it will let you see other things.
You have any other dealers near you? It doesn't have to go to the dealer you bought it from.

You're supposed to check your tire pressure when they are cold. "Cold tires" are defined as tires that have not been driven on for at least 3 hours. When you drive on the tires, they warm up and warm air expands which pushes against the tire walls and puts out a greater PSI.

Let the tires sit overnight and check the PSI in the morning.

Are you running the stock rims and tires? Have you had anything done to the rims or tires? (i.e. got a new tire put on....) Did you or anyone you let drive the car curb a wheel?

If the answer is no to the above go to the dealer and have them re-calibrate the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) Sensors. I work at a dealership and sometimes the sensors need to be re-calibrated. And yes it is under warranty.

5yr 60k Basic Bumper to Bumper ;)

Ps if you blow a tire the TPMS light will not flash. It only detects pressure drop in your tires. Not a blow out.

It only detects a pressure drop? A tire blowing out will cause your PSI to drop... to zero.

I just noticed one of my other tyres seems to be low on air as it goes down a bit more than other tyres. My TPMS doesn't turn on still.

Messed up.

My dealer told me the tire must have leaked out a min of ten pounds pressure befor the light would even come on. Mine has never come on. Don't even know what it looks like on the screen? LOL

The circle with the exclaimation point is the low tire pressure warning. The dash screen shows a flat tire letting you know you have Low Tire Pressure.
