I was looking to replace my radio in my 3kgt and was wodering if anyone had any ideas of a radio that fit the entire hole were the stock one came out of. I have one in it now thats purty good but the gap in it is getting annoying to look at. Any suggestions???

you can get a generic "double din" radio, and they fit well.

Or a touch-screen, etc. There's a lot out there that fit nicely. Just gotta search around.

They also make installation kits which either have nothing in the gap (just a plate (See pic)) or a tray for junk and stuff.

I found a Double din JVC KW GX700 that looks purty good. It says it is "Steering Wheel Remote Ready". I was wondering if it would work in on my steering wheel remote???
