the manifolds crack, the turbos blow oil and the FMIC's aren't very efficient. But the piping is good, may take some fab to get it fitting right but, pipe is pipe

sure, you won't be running huge boost numbers for right now anyway. It might last until you decide to upgrade. let us take a look at the kit you are considering though, we can help you with your decision

For the love of sanford and son DONT BUY IT!

JDM'S T3/T4 Turbocharger with 3" Filter!!
Turbine Turbocharger
Oil cooled only
6 blade propeler

i've never heard of a propeler on a turbo, or a turbine turbocharger?! Thats like saying you have a engine powered car,,,no ****.

Post a list of the parts you have as of right now. I will find you the rest of the ones you need and try to stay within that $1000 budget

yeah I just got a Pm from another member-ADMIN saying NOT to buy a kit off ebay.

You guys are all awsome and good advice back and forth.

Im just going to start from scratch and do a piece together kit. Lets start from nothing, so let me know what you all have. Budget it always peoples problems, but Im going to allow myself to purchase one thing every check. This check I got myself AC and Im picking up a brand new never installed Drift kit in Orlando for $200 so I couldnt complain.

Lets start with a GREAT manifold. Where do I go (keep it budget friendly). This can be 2 things, a external WG or do internal WG. I hear that the internal WG are easier to work with, but you guys can help me im sure. Post up what YOU have and we can work out a deal.

The reason I sent a ebay item NUMBER is because my computer is under company networking. I cant view videos, pictures, MOST SITES, anything download cant happen, ect. I found my most favorite exhaust on ebay for $100 but couldnt buy it. full thermal research and development exhaust with a 3 inch buscher DP. Man I had that on my 95 tsi and WOW.

the ONLY differences between this car and the laser you had (other than scorched seats) is a little bit of wiring, turbo system, pistons, transmission. everything else is the same.

the only difference between this car and the 91 talon you never finished is pistons, turbo system, a little bit of wiring

don't be scared, you've done this before, just a teeny bit difference

yeah I know to be honest with you, Im not nervous at all with this. I will stick with a stock turbo setup to relive myself of the serious Modifications. I can find a complet set up for $500 just a 2 hour drive from me so I may just pick that up, instead of piece by piece.

All I know is I want to run some boost 10psi is ok with me, and I want all hard pipe with my hks bov for sure.

Do I have the vaccum lines for a turbo swap or what? That is bothering me. I have 3 running off my adaptor on my intake, and if im correct, I had 3 coming off my turbo dsms as well.

oh and for your information, The LASER caught on fire going down the expressway. I raced someone and developed a tick/knock. I continued to drive teh car down the highway and it got LOUDER so I kept on driving KNOWING already what I did. It than had smoke coming through my dash so I pulled over popped the hood. I had a small fire on my manifold so I dumbed my freshly bought 1 liter of Mountain dew on my manifold. The car was continued to be put out for SURE by the fire department. Car went to a shop, It right there started right back up LOL. I took her all the way apart to find messed up bearings and blew piston rings.
