I finally went around and did my exhaust. The workshop that did it made it so that the muffler stays where the stock one was only that this one is straight-through instead of the maze that is our stock muffler for better airflow. I've seen all the bolt ons etc and they all look like the exhaust runs way too close to the ground which prompted me to go custom along with the fact that i wanted a nicer note and a bit better airflow while still looking like the original exhaust (i'm a Provisonal license holder thus i'm now allowed to have performance mods by law). It is about 1" larger than the original exhaust but i think it's pretty good and sounds good. Here it is. (IMG: http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/2521/exhaustfullol3.jpg) And look at the monster that was removed. (IMG: http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/4489/stockmufflerexhaustnn2.jpg) Just imagine how restrictive it is.

QUOTE(DKTRL @ Jul 19 2008, 05:32 PM) do you lose engine power after changing the muffle? Changing/removing the muffler will affect back pressure and low end RPM will suffer. Having no muffler is best for the mid-range to high RPM bands. Personally, the only job a muffler is supposed to have is what the name states... muffle. It should reduce sound emissions and that's it. I hate all this back pressure nonsense.

QUOTE(lancerpower4b11 @ Jul 21 2008, 09:50 AM) Sounds nice. Only thing i see is that it looks close to your bumper i hope it won't melt or anything. Nah, he's got at least a 1/2". He should be fine. The problem with the Greddy Ti-C is that it is less than a 1/4" away from your bumper (borderline TOUCHING the bumper) so that's where the melting issues lie. The exhaust sounds great to be honest. That's exactly the kind of sound I want on my car. Quiet idle, light grumble in the lows, and ROARS in the highs. Kudos Ravine, job well done. P.S: I'm loving the tags for the video... lol poor Soobies!

QUOTE(Skoobygt @ Jul 22 2008, 11:17 AM) How much did the exhaust cost you from Liverpool? I am possibly looking at getting the EVO X diffuser, and then putting dual tips either side on it. When I sell my Liberty GT haha It 250 all up. However for stainless it would have been 500 or so.
