I bought a new pioneer radio last week and I have all of the wires connected correctly. I've double and triple checked all of the connections but still - no power is getting to the radio. I'm thinking it may be the fuse, but I dont know what to do with it. Help?

If you are SURE that you have the wires right than I would check the fuse, and depending on the unit it may have its own fuse.

Have you pressed the "ON" or "POWER" button... lol

No, check the fuse

Well, you will have to find your fuse box with the radio fuse in it (usually around the drivers side inside the car). Your manual will help alot on this, but you will have to find the right fuse and there are different ways to check it. Easiest is to take it out and see if the metal inside broke apart, or, you can take power detector or volt meter to both sides of the fuse (touching the metal in the bottom of the fuse). If by some reason you dont know what fuse it is than you will have to test them all, with the power on, to see whats not working and pulling them out to see if they are bad.

Hopefully you have a book or your manual, it will help alot. Good luck

the stereo should also have a fuse located right around the wiring connector at the back of the head unit.

3possible

1) No initial power supply
2) No negaive supply
3) Radio set spoil

First: Use a multi meter to test on the initial wire behind the radio head unit, turn on n off your initial key. if there is a supply than. secound link a wire behind your radio head unit attach to the chassic. your radio head unit should b work, othewise, only 1 posibility, your radio head unit is spoil. return to the place u purchase to check.
