Well here are the the pros with the Talon I know have. (my eclipse didn't have these)
A/C
Rear Wiper
Rear Defrost
Cruise Control
Dome lights (previous owner pulled the switch from the doors in the eclipse)
Trunk Light
Power Mirrors
Tachometer
Horn (lol)
Two MTX Amps
Tweeters
dash speakers
Lumbar support
Rides much better; Way better
CLEAN TITLE :) (The eclipse was rebuilt twice)
AND IT RUNS

It does need a new front bumper, paint, rims and I am seriously considering doing the eclipse conversion.

All in All; I'm happy with my decision

Drives: 1996 Talon AWD. Built, but no longer drives: 1997 mitsubishi eclipse RS; 1990 Talon AWD; 1995 Talon AWD, 1997 Talon AWD. Seems like a pattern

I was told today that the front bumper of an eclipse can't be put on a Talon because the lights are different. Is this true? The guy at the wrecking yard said that the Talon lights are longer. When ever I see a car drive buy I can't tell whether its an eclipse or Talon until I see the back end. I thought they were exactly the same. Is he wrong?

I'm pretty sure he's wrong. The only thing is I'm not sure if they changed the lights and frint bumper along with the eclipse in 97. Pretty sure they did though...

Ya I think he's wrong too. I'm gonna put a 97 to 99 bumper on and I will probably have to change the lights too because the bumper thats on it now looks like a 95-96 which probably means the after market projector lights that are currently on it are probably 95-96 as well. They are a little oxidized so I don't mind changing them too.

If you find a car with a good bumper, take the lights too if they are good. And that plastix stuff will take that oxidation right off.

I had one yellow light and the other brand new, I used that and now the old light looks better than my new one!

Oh and do those lights on it look like a good quality? or the cheap ebay ones? If they are nice, I might be interested in taking them off your hands....

Where can I find the "Plastix" to clean them? To be honest, I don't think I would know the difference between cheap ebay and good quality. I thought the only difference between ebay and buying at a custom shop was price, lol
