You could have just spilled something on it during the build. Where is it leaking from? it is comming from where is bolts to the turbo? if so, you need to torque the hell out of those bolts, and you should have gotten a new gasket for it.

AND DO NOT START IT AGAIN! unless you want to take it all apart again. Your timing belt should not flop at all, and even if it does, that wouldn't be it squealing because it's a cog belt, not like the accessory belts. you need to check your tension on that sucker again. You may even need to take it completely off and start over, and if you do that, you can take your water pump back off and put some RTV on it. DO NOT put RTV on that o-ring on the water pump, a little oil or grease to help it slip on is enough.

I doubt that, I'm willing to be that you didn't adjust the tensioner pully properly. After you put the tensioner in BEFORE you pull the pin on it, you need to turn that pully (if you notice, it's kinda bolted off-center).

You tension it up like you did for the balance shaft belt. Once that is done, and your belt is tight, you can use the tensioner tool for the rest of it (if you need to, I didn't), then turn the motor over a few times with a rachet to make sure everything still lines up and doesn't flop around, then bolt it back up and try to start it.

Dude, seriously, replace that too. If that little sucker snaps, it will take out your timing belt with it. I don't have to tell you what will happen if your timing belt snaps, do I?

Steady tick? or knock? knock is not good. And it doesn't matter what it looks like, you are supposed to change it whenever you change your timing belt. And oil on the belt does have the ability to deteriorate the belt over time.

ok i took it apart today and check the water pump and 1 bolt was only finger tight lol the bolt for the alt bracket. but still i can get the timing belt tight i think it might be the automatic tensioner. when i pull the pin it get a lil tighter but if i reach down to the pulley that the pin hits theres like a 1/16 to a 1/8 inch of play still. could the automatic tensioner not be fully extending? or could it be the bracket it hits? im stuck here guys idk what it is all i know its 1 of those
