I bent a rim on my 08 GTS and am looking for a used one. Preferably from someone in Canada so I can save on shipping. My other option is, I am willing to sell the 3 good rims(and 1 bent one if you want?) if anyone is interested. Hope I can find something.

Is it too badly damaged to repair? Wheel repairers do a good job. While you're at it, change their colour to gun metal gray or something to suit your car!

They are aluminum rims. Aluminum absorbs and disperses heat really well, making it really hard to heat up the rim and make it hot enough to reshape. A majority of heatsinks used in the market are mostly aluminum.

Simply put... it won't be easy to repair it. See if the dealership will do something for you. It might be repairable under warranty... although it's no guarantee.

Yeah the rim bent courtesy of an icy corner and slamming into a curb sideways. So repairing it and warranty are out the question.

Oh that sucks! Have you tried getting a price from the dealer for a new one? Locally, the GTS rim was the cheapest of all the wheels Mitsu offered me.

I talked to a couple dealers around me and the cheapest I could get one was $1050. So I just figured if I could find a used one cheap I'd do that, otherwise I'm going to buy aftermarket rims that fit the same tires for under $200 a rim. OEM parts sure do hose you.
