Drives: 2000 eclipse gt
i have a 2000 eclipse gt and sometimes when i am driving on a highway and i let off of the accelerator, 5th gear pops out by itself. it doesnt happen all of the time, but it just seems as once the rpms drop, it comes out. any ideas why?

Just throwing this out there because its something i heard a long time ago when I was having the same problem with my Honda Civic and 2nd gear. Every time I would let off the gas it would pop out of gear. I was told it was probably a bent shift fork.
