Okay my intercooler piping is 3in hard pipe and the turbo tube is maybe 2in. What type of part is used to connect these two. also i need a 90 degree turn before adjusting to the 3in pipe. i was considering heater hose for the bend. What do you guys think.

Also how can i do the same thing for the throttle body. The throttle body is way smaller than my intercooler piping and i didnt know what was used to connect the two. i know pvc pipe can do this but i thought that would be a bad choice especially being right next to that turbo. Thanks for your help :liebe011:

P.S for those who recognize me :) i did buy a new turbo and i am that much closer. The oil lines are connected and i just need to wait on the V band clamp for the down pipe.

sorry i was not thinking i meant radiator hose to make an elbow come off the turbo and away from the engine and not heater hose.

Dont buy ebay or autozone junk, here are good couplers that are 3" to 2" http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/p...cat=1535&page=1

As for the elbo, either weld a 90 degree bend of pipe onto on of the other sections and there ya go. Muffeler shop can help with that. Or at least get a 90 bend and connect it with everything else with some of those silocone couplers.

That's what I would do anyways.

the j-pipe goes from the turbo outlet to the intercooler pipe

you need something like this: http://www.slowboyracing.com/estore/produc...99&cat=0&page=1 for your coupler. 2"-3" is hard to find

2.5-3" is easier, but they are all expensive

3 inch piping is huge, You would have been better off going 2 inch.

^ he has an RS, he wouldn't be using a mitsu turbo so the J-pipe is irrelevant
