Can you post a picture of your painted emblem on your wheel? I am curious to see how it came out. :liebe011:

Red is the safest color you can go for the calipers. Unfortunately, it's also the most played out.

Color match them to your car. Black gets black calipers, white gets white, etc. so on and so forth.

How did you go about painting the emblems? I can't even get the darn things off!

The darn things won't pop off! I don't want to scratch my rims or damage the plastic cap. I even wrapped the screwdriver with a paper towel and still no luck... YARGH!

By the way, the calipers look great! I wonder if I can just spray paint... the only caliper paint I can find is in red... and I want blue... :(

Patience young grasshopper..... you'd have to take the whole dang thing off to spray paint it. Not sure how well that would adhere. I'll check autozone around here and see if they have blue. I'll let ya know.

Hey whatever floats your boat. I think with the black rims it would look alright. If it was silver with black, no so much. Post pics of the new bling!

Hi, Can you tell me how do you paint the brake calipers....I mean is it just straight spray paint...or you also applied some base on it before painting red.
and how much paint is needed for the 4 brakes, I plan to do it on my car as well.
from quantity I mean to say, which size spray bottle I should buy.

Nice work, I could never pull off something like that because of cold weather, the paint would fall right off.
