I believe the '08 and '09's look the same body wise.

The colors are different though. The 09 is an Octane Blue. The 08 is a Electric Blue.
I would check out www.edmunds.com

Modifications
01) 35% tint on front, rear and back windows
02) 3m protection film on hood, fender, bumper, back of mirrors and front/rear splash impact area

wow thanks for the quick responses! I deff. like the 09 blue more than the 08 blue, its alot more brighter and looks really slick in sunlight.

How's the 3m holding up beyonddc?

I guess so far so good. I don't know so much about it. I only heard from the forum that there's a lot of cases with paint chipping on 08-09 Lancer models, therefore I had someone to help me to install the 3m clear bra. I also try to avoid bumpy/rocky road in my area, so far I haven't see any paint chipping on my car.

I've seen side by side comparisons between the Electric Blue Pearl and the Octane Blue Pearl. Octane Blue is about a shade or two lighter than Electric Blue.

And yes, those are my real plates. I don't see what the big gruff is about censoring your plates. It's pointless for me to be honest... I'm the only 2008 Electric Blue Pearl GTS in Chicago! ORIGINALITY ROCKS!

I made this a moment ago. I think this is a fairly good color comparison of the 2 colors side by side. Of course its probably not exact but I think close enough to get an idea.

Sorry, forgot to include that very important piece of info.

The one on the left (lighter color) is the 09 Octane Blue. The one on the right is 08 Electric Blue

I would get the Orange Lancer GTS if it was available when I purchase my 09' blue. Orange seems to be a rare color and it looks great. I think the Orange Nissan Murano is very sharp looking.
