no idea what size those are. But you can probably get a comparable sized turbo elsewhere for a lot cheaper

do you have a link to the turbos?

I dyno'd a car with the executioners but couldn't get the car to run right (too many issues and leaks) so I can't really tell you how they will perform. Why not stick with a tried and true 13G or 15G turbo? There are no core charges and you know you are getting a brand new turbo, nothing built from old turbo parts.

i don't know. they just seem like they would whoop a$$. 6mm or 7mm bored out. sounds like they pack a punch. and they are exact same as the stock (housing wise) so it would be an easy swap.

i'm just searching my alternitives to the 15g which is what i might end up getting. i was just currious as to what feed back i might get. and to be honost, if 3sx sells it, its probably pretty good $#!T.

Why not just get the IPS evo 3 16G kit for a little more money. They are cheaper turbos if you ever had to replace one... and you get better manifolds on top of that.

Plus that with supporting mods has been proven to put 500 to the ground at all four wheels. which is about 625 to the crank.

the executioners can do 500 easy with supporting mods. and they are about 1000 cheaper (yeah i don't get the manifolds, but i can port polish mine when i get the money)

i'm just looking for things i can do in stages, and i think i have to get TD04's so i can get by with simple fuel mods for now, then work on port/polishing later. and add more aggressive supporting mods.

if you're aiming for simple, then stick with your stock turbos.

evo3's don't require crazy fuel modifications.

Upgrade everything AND then do the turbos. Why buy turbos twice.

my plan is to do a fairly simple one time build. the cars not in amazing shape so i'm not going to dump a lot into it. this is more for familurization and what not.

i think i'll stick with TD04's just for the fact that i won't have to buy a whole lot of new stuff. and is the fuel requirements for 16gs vs 15gs really that much different? its not for the fuel that i'm choosing 15gs, i'm picking them over the evo III because i won't have to modify my manifolds til i'm ready too. long term i hope to find a great condition VR4 and put 20G's on it. but thats at least a few years and a few pay grades away. for now, i just want a 12 second (mid or so 12's) car that can be used as a daily driver with no problems. and i want to do it for the least amount of cash as possible.

so here's where i'm at
15G turbos (under 1000)
550cc injectors (3 or 400)
255 pump and rewire kit (150 or less)
and some type of fuel control kit (what do you recommend?)

i think that should get me well into the 400's and into the 12's.

You want mid 12's and you need to go with 15G's???? 13G's will go high 11's and will be far more fun on the street. I think you need to do more research on what turbos you really need/want before making a jump. I haven't seen any real numbers from the 3sx turbos though. If you have some, show me please.

why would 13g's be more fun? do they spool up that much better/faster? and from what research i've been doing, 15g's are what are recommended. but thats why i'm here, getting more advise.

I've had 13G's, 15G's, evo3 16g's, and the most fun I've had in my car was when I had 13G's. They spool up just like stock and make great top end power, they are cheap and easy to get a hold of. I ran a 12.2 @ 112 mph only running 16psi. I wish I never swapped to larger turbos, but now I'm installing a set of twin GT2871R's because I like to prove myself right LOL.

In my opinion if your gonna go big you might as well just do it right and go EVOIII...

i want to go big, i just don't think this is the right car to do it in. i still don't know it that well (as a car, not a 3/s) i've only had it for a little bit and i don't have the money to be buying tranny/clutch parts right now so i don't want to go too big. just big enough to walk an evo or a vette no problem. thats all.

Stick with the stock turbos, they have potential. I would max them out and go from there. When you buy a part make sure its in anticipation for the bigger turbos.

i'm also replacing the stock turbo's now because they leak oil. and i'm getting smoke from them. that was one of the main reasons for the build (as i told my wife anyways)
