Hello,

I'm looking to replace a fuel pressure solenoid in a 98 GST and I was just wondering if there was anything special I needed to do or do I just mostly unplug the old one and then plug in the new one?

(I'm also considering "bypassing it," but I live in Texas (hot) so I'm not sure if I should, and I'm also not quite sure how to go about doing it)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

just make sure you reconnect the vacuum lines correctly and you will be ok. you can't bypass it without installing an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator
